We have students from overseas, including China, France, the UK, and Russia, studying in our classrooms.
Even students from countries that don’t use Chinese characters seem to have a hard time writing Chinese characters at first,
but they gradually get used to it and make amazing progress ^^
This calligraphy of “永” was done by a student from Russia who practiced it a lot at home after the first lesson 👍
You can practice the basic brush strokes of calligraphy using this character “永”.
This is called the “永字八法”.
The key to improvement is to thoroughly master the “永字八法”.
We also have a student who is currently working hard with correspondence lessons overseas.
He studied almost entirely on his own in Denmark and had progressed to a fairly high level.
And with the aim of going even further, he started the Thousand Characters Course last month.
I used a lot of vermilion ink, but it’s rare to be able to write this well from the beginning ^^
For overseas students who want to improve even more, I provide proper corrections at the same level as Japanese students.
I could see some improvements from last time👍
He’s a hard worker, so I think he’ll keep improving^^/
