We held a calligraphy trial lesson for customers from France.
Everyone said they wanted to try writing their own names in Japanese.
Although they didn’t have much time to practice with the brush, they were able to write their own names well by looking at the example.
Japanese has three types of characters: hiragana, katakana, and kanji, and it may have been a little difficult for first-timers to distinguish between them.

At the end, everyone wrote what they wanted to write on their fans or drawing paper.
At the end, everyone wrote what they wanted to write on their fans or drawing paper.
Everyone wrote something they like in Japanese, such as the name of their pet or their grandchild. Someone who likes cats wrote “cat” in kanji.
I’m really happy that everyone was able to take home wonderful souvenirs and that it was a fun calligraphy experience.
