Calligraphy season

Although there are still hot days,
it’s starting to feel more like autumn since the autumn equinox.

This cooler season makes you feel calmer and helps you concentrate better,
so it’s the best season for calligraphy.

There are also many calligraphy exhibitions, which are held in various places.

I’ve been to several calligraphy exhibitions since last month,
and I was very impressed by the large works, as well as the works that aimed to incorporate them into everyday life.

In the large works, I am moved by the energy of the calligrapher and the world of space created by the interweaving of black and white.
And in the small works, a world is created that unfolds within the small piece of paper.

I tend to spend a lot of time working on large pieces for exhibitions,
but as someone involved with calligraphy, I feel a renewed desire to be able to convey the appeal of calligraphy that colors our lives.

Autumn and winter are particularly seasons when many calligraphy exhibitions are held in various places.
It’s easy to go and see calligraphy in Tokyo,
so why not take a walk and visit a calligraphy exhibition during the autumn of art ^^/
