Last week, a couple of American tourists joined us for a calligraphy experience.

Steven is interested in Japanese language and kanji, so we were able to speak a little bit in Japanese.
He wants to write “sushi” so it seems he likes sushi.
His wife, Elaine, prefers grilled fish,
and likes pictures more than words ^^
so this time, instead of sushi, she tried making a “rabbit” in the style of the Choju Jinbutsu Giga painting.
Although he said it was “difficult!”, he loves painting,
and he finished it easily by looking at the example✨
They were happy that it was a good memory for them.
After the lesson, we went for a stroll around the nearby Akagi Shrine and Zenkokuji Temple, and since she likes walking on small paths, she also seemed to enjoy the town of Kagurazaka♪
